| Often seen stylishly donning a cap, Carolynne's quiet speaking voice and gentle personality belie the intensity within. That she has an immensely powerful singing voice was clear even during her auditions when she sang a rendition of Mariah Carey's "Hero" to demonstrate a delightful dynamic range. |
| Carolynne is experienced on the music scene, both as a performer and songwriter. "I'll Take The Tears" which she wrote in collaboration with her ex-boyfriend, A1's Ben Adams, made it onto the boy band's album "The A List". She also has a songwriting contract with the BMG record label. |
| Carolynne has also dated some sporty celebs including England football hero Rio Ferdinand. |
| She found the audition process nerve-racking, describing it as "really intense, quite awful". She didn't really like having the cameras and producers in the audition room as well as Carrie and David! |
| Any camera phobia she had seemed to have disappeared by the time of the televised audition heat. She belted out "I Drove All Night" with great gusto and verve. It was a performance that Celine Dion would have been proud of and it made a good first show impression with the panellists and the voting public alike. |
| Carolynne made it all the way to the final of Fame Academy. She came 3rd in the competition.(on Saturday 4th October) |
