Alex Introduces Herself To The Charts

Buy 'Maybe Thats What It Takes' by Alex Parks at Amazon.co.uk Fame Academy winner Alex Parks has had a promising 'Introduction' to the UK charts.

'Introduction' is the title of her debut album which was relesed on Monday, which has entered the UK album charts today at No. 5.

Last week Alex's 'Maybe That's What It Takes' entered the singles at No.3.

As well as the title track the CD also includes Alex singing 'Beautiful' and 'Over Conscious'.

Friday Night With Jonathan Ross...And Alex
07 Nov 2003: Alex Parks appeared tonight on BBC1's 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross'. She was promoting her new single 'Maybe That's What It Takes' and also taking time out to chat with Jonathan on the sofa.

They discussed quite a bit: The change in her life, the constant filming, David Sneddon's retirement and concerns for Peter. Oh and of course, the single, which after all she was on the show to plug.

Unfortunately Alex only had time for an abbreviated performance of the song, however it was good to hear her talking at length, so very much a worthwhile sacrifice. Full account...
